Anti-Sugar DIL Sneakily Throws Away a Fresh Batch of Cookies at Grandma's House After Agreeing the Grandkids Can Eat Sweets, Granny Gets Heated
There are healthy moms and then there are health-freak moms.
Moms can get a little finicky when it comes to the nutrition of their children. I get it, you want them to eat healthily and grow strong–that's a super important part of being a good parent–but what the children's nutrition books don't mention is that you really shouldn't be nitpicking every single edible morsel that enters their mouth. Aside from excessive indulgence, kids should be able to eat a little sweet treat every now and then, especially when they're at grandma's.
It might even be a familial legal requirement that grandmas are allowed to bake their grandkids cookies. It's the first chapter in Good Granny's Digest: How to bake the most epic, core memory cookies. But when her health-freak daughter-in-law decided to stomp on her granny duties, this grandma got more than a little peeved.
In the past, they had had scuffles regarding the children's diet while visiting grandma's house, but they'd compromised. Since Grandma was an avid baker and loved to make sweet treats for her grandkids, the children were allowed one cookie each per visit. This worked swimmingly until the DIL mom snapped. Keep scrolling for the story of the cookie dump heard 'round the world and the rightfully placed grandma rage that ensued afterward.
